Dock Girls Soccer Coach Resigns

Dock Mennonite Academy Athletics Department announces the resignation of Ray Hess, Head Girls Soccer Coach. Coach Hess has been a part of our coaching staff for the past sixteen years, five as an assistant boys soccer coach, and the past eleven years served as our girls head soccer coach. During his tenure, he was an assistant coach to 3 state championship boys soccer teams, and his girls soccer teams won 5 consecutive District I Championships, and 5 league titles.  Coach Hess has been an excellent teacher of the fundamentals, game strategies, and brought an ability to position players for team success. In addition, he was a strong proponent of forming character through sports.  All these coaching components, and more, have been a foundation for the many championships our teams won over these years. We appreciate the fine leadership Coach Hess brought to our girls soccer program during his tenure!

Our Athletic Office is posting the head girls soccer coach position. We are looking for candidates that have significant experience in coaching and playing the game. In addition, we are looking for an individual that can bring enthusiasm for the sport, and the ability to provide sound teaching and tactical knowledge in continuing the strong leadership of our girls soccer program. Interested candidates may contact Tim Ehst, Athletic Director, at 215-362-2676, or tmehst@dock.org
