Dock Mennonite Academy Hires Varsity Baseball Head Coach

The Christopher Dock Athletic Department announces the hiring of Jim Smith to our Head Varsity Baseball Coach position. Coach Smith is a graduate of North Penn High School and was a member of their 2009 PIAA State Championship Baseball Team. He went on to play for St. Peter’s University as a Division 1 baseball player. While at St. Peters, he received numerous all-academic honors as well as all-conference honors for his play on the field. Following his college career, he spent a few years playing in the Independent Professional Baseball League, Roswell, New Mexico.

Presently, Coach Smith works for the Tri-State Elite Baseball Academy as Private Instructor, Catching Instructor, and Strength Trainer. He is also a Head Coach in the PA Shockers Travel Baseball Program.

Coach Smith brings a passion for the game, strong teaching abilities, and a commitment to building team chemistry for our baseball program. We look forward to the leadership Coach Smith will bring to our baseball program, continuing the tradition of striving for baseball excellence and forming positive life skills in players.
