Dock Track Results - 04-05-16


The weather acted as another opponent yesterday but didn't stop the Dock boys from putting up some solid performances against League rivals Lower Moreland, Plumstead Christian, and Faith Christian Academy.

Josh Wolfe led the way with a pair of individual wins in the hurdle events running a new school record in the 110m High Hurdles at 15.20. The previous time of 15.27 was Josh's record from 2015. Josh ran 40.73 in the 300m intermediate hurdles leading a top 3 sweep in that event with teammates Cole Rupert and Ethan Schimek. Josh then hit the District Qualifier in the Triple Jump going 39 foot 8.50 inches for 2nd place. Finally, adding to his already busy afternoon, Josh, along with teammates Xander Durkeson, Austin Kratz, and Austin Nice took 1st in the 4x100m relay and hit the elusive District Qualifying mark running 46.25.

Austin Kratz won the 100m with a new season's best time 11.12.
Ian Anderson won the 400m going 56.49.
Austin Nice won the Long jump at 17 foot 3 inches.
Alex Martin won both the Shot Put (35 foot 2) and Discus (119 foot 11).
Nate Kerns won the Javelin throwing 117 foot 1 inch.
The 4x800m relay (Colin Bernd, Jeremy Moyer, Isaiah Denlinger, and Ian Anderson took first with a time of 8:57.11.


It was a cold windy day on the Christopher Dock home track. The Dock girls found them selves in a battle against League opponent Lower Moreland (83 points). The top performers showed up as the Dock girls narrowly eked out a win.
The most impressive moment on the track was early in the meet. Haley Anderson (48.90), Abbie Woods (49.59), and Kate Strickland (49.82) went 1, 2, and 3 in the 300m Intermediate Hurdles. Three girls under 50 seconds is quite impressive this early in the season

In the field, Sabrina Demetrius won the Shot Put with a New School record toss of 35 foot 3 inches breaking her old mark of 34 foot 5 inches.
Niki Clements won both the 100m (13.48) and 200m (27.92) hitting the District Qualifier in both events.
Maddison Landis easily won the 400m with a time of 1:02.51.
Haley Anderson won the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.33, the 300m intermediate hurdles, and the triple jump 33 foot 6 inches.
Lael Flores won the 3200m running the District standard 12:55.87.
Abbie Woods won the High Jump at 4 foot 6 inches.
The 4x800m relay team of Lindsey Bernd, Jules Rotelle, Lamie Kolb, and Maddison Landis took first with a time of 10:28.53.
Finally, the 4x100m relay team of Niki Clements, Abbie Woods, Haley Anderson, and Kate Strickland won their race with a solid time of 52.30.
