Major “Nursing. I hope to one day work in a hospital as a physician’s assistant.”
Final list of schools: Point Loma Nazarene University, Anderson University, Union University.
Reasons for choosing Point Loma Nazarene University: “Point Loma had a strong and respected nursing and soccer program which appealed to me. Weather and location were also a factor (located in San Diego, CA). I was particularly drawn to Point Loma Nazarene University because of the Christ-centered environment established by the coaching staff of the soccer program and the university.”
Head Coach Tina Griffiths: “Amanda is an absolute asset to our team. Her fantastic work ethic, willingness to jump in wherever needed, and her passion for winning make her the ideal player to coach. She always leaves everything on the field and plays her hardest every game.”
Athletic Director Shawn Bramble: “Amanda is the epitome of what a student-athlete from Calvary Christian Academy should strive to be. She has a heart for the ministry, excels in the classroom and is a great teammate. Amanda is well-respected by the faculty, her fellow classmates and teammates at CCA. Amanda’s leadership on our soccer team will be sorely missed.”
